What to include in a bug report

A few lines is enough. These are the details that make a problem reproducible.

  • Your iPhone model and iOS version — Settings › General › About.
  • Your Apple Watch model and watchOS version, if the problem is on the Watch.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened instead. A screenshot helps more than a description.

Common questions

How do I install the beta?

Install Apple’s free TestFlight app from the App Store, then open the BibleClick invitation link on your iPhone and tap Accept. The Watch app installs alongside the iPhone app — check the Watch app on your iPhone if it doesn’t appear straight away.

How do I get a verse on Apple Watch?

Open BibleClick on your Watch and tap the bubble in the middle of the screen. The app settles for a moment, then shows a verse from your library. Tap again for another.

Can I add my own verses?

Yes. In the verse manager you can add a verse, edit its text and reference, mark it as a favourite, delete single verses, or clear the whole list. Verses you add are stored on your device and are never sent anywhere.

I cleared my verses by mistake. Can I get them back?

Yes. The verse manager has a restore option that brings the 365 starter verses back. Verses you wrote yourself and then deleted can’t be recovered, because BibleClick keeps no backup copy of your data.

How do I add the watch face complication?

Touch and hold your watch face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications screen, tap a slot, and choose BibleClick from the list. The complication breathes gently and opens the app when you tap it.

Can I get a verse each day?

Turn on Today’s Verse in Settings on iPhone and choose the time you want it. The verse is chosen on your device — no server is involved, so it works whether or not you have a connection.

Which Bible translation does BibleClick use?

The World English Bible, Protestant Edition (WEBP), a public domain translation published by eBible.org. Modern translations such as NIV, ESV, NLT, CSB, and NASB are licensed and can’t be bundled, but you can type any verse you like into your own library.

Where are my highlights and notes stored?

On your device only. Highlights, notes, favourites, and reading progress live in local storage on your iPhone and Apple Watch. There is no account and no server, so nothing syncs to the developer or to a third party. See the privacy policy.

What are the ambience sounds?

Three optional background sounds — breeze, ocean, and rain — that you can turn on in theme settings on iPhone. They play from files inside the app and are off by default.

Does BibleClick need an internet connection or an account?

No to both. The verse library ships inside the app, so everything works in aeroplane mode, and there is no sign-up step at all.

Does it work without an Apple Watch?

Yes. The iPhone app is complete on its own — reading, highlights, notes, favourites, search, and Today’s Verse. The Watch adds the tap-to-receive bubble and the complication.

The text is too small. Can I change it?

Settings on iPhone has three text sizes: Small, Default, and Large.

Does BibleClick cost anything?

The app itself is free. There is also a small tip jar — Small Thanks, Plant a Seed, Water the Tree, Kind Support, and Sponsor Growth. Tips are entirely optional, one-time, and unlock nothing: every feature works the same whether you tip or not.

Privacy

BibleClick has no accounts, analytics, tracking, advertising, network services, or third-party SDKs. Your data stays on your device.
